Hi, I'm Aaron and I'm a Personal Trainer and Transformation Coach based in Kent who specialises in fast-tracking body transformations and fat loss.

 

I help people shed fat, increase strength, feel awesome and build their best body! I achieve this by creating bespoke results-focused training and nutrition plans, based on an individual's lifestyle and fitness goals while providing weekly personalised coaching/feedback videos.

 

All this while ensuring we're taking a no-bulls**t, evidence-based approach.

I first started Aaron’s programmes in august 2019 with Melissa doing the couples package. I mainly wanted help with nutrition as I really didn’t have a clue when it came to macros, but I also let him take control of my training. I was worried about losing strength while cutting but with Aaron’s help it was the complete opposite. I went from 17 stone down to 13 stone still managed to build more muscle size and countless pb’s one of which was over 3x body weight deadlift and near to 3x body weight squat. My strength and conditioning journey started 3 years ago when I first decided to enter the gym. I first started Aaron’s training programme in august 2019 with Sam doing the couples package! I was very nervous to say the least not just about the nutrition factor (counting macros) but with the weightlifting side of it, before this I stuck to cardio because I was scared of doing free weights. Aaron is very supportive, if you have a question he will answer honestly! My favourite part of the whole process is gaining the confidence I lost after having my little girl. I love the process of self improvement & weightlifting thanks to Aaron! I would recommend him to anyone. The gym is not just a hobby for me but it’s now a lifestyle choice!

Is Online Coaching right for you?

Now, I’m writing this to help those of you who are interested in Online Personal Training to weigh up the pros and cons of this type of service. I hope this info will also help other personal trainers to inform their potential online clients, helping them to ensure their clients choose the right service for them. 

Online Personal Training is generally for people with a basic to a high level of knowledge of exercise physiology. It's not always ideal for people who have never looked at a dumbbell, having said that, I've worked with some incredible clients who have gone from, shall we say "zero to hero".

 

If you have not exercised before, you'll often be better off working with a one to one Personal Trainer; this is so that they can accurately assess your form and movement patterns. With online coaching, you'll not be seeing someone in person; for this reason, it can be easier to hide away and avoid training and dieting. Therefore, if you know that you seriously lack self-discipline, you might be better off working with someone face to face.

It's not just about weight loss and muscle gain.

Not all results are obvious/visible.

 

Not all are looking to lose weight or gain muscle, many have other issues they look to progress with. 

For example, you may have a injury that you have been dealing with for a long time that you want rehabilitate or you may be struggling mentally with different factors and that a steady routine with goals will help overcome.

I have worked with many different cases over the year, I would like to say I’m not just the generic ‘PT’ that will give you 3 sets of 10reps. 

 

If you are injured, ill look at your movement patterns and what could be causing this injury to discover ways to overcome this, or if you are struggling from injuries from sports or accidents etc, like many of my clients, I can help then by making sure you are moving in the most efficient way, eliminating bad movement patterns which would not only be detrimental but could cause further problems in the long run. 

All programmes are tailored for each individual and their needs, this certainly is not a one size fits all approach. 

Its all about how you move, and like I said, everyone is different, so its about knowing the good movements which would help recovery/strength/muscle growth and to reduce/eliminate bad movements that could cause further injuries and be detrimental to rehabilitation and recovery.

Here’s Lisa, when she was 15 she had a trampoline accident at school but never suffered with any back pain until later in life, when she was 28 she went to lift a box from the floor and her back gave way,

 

For 3 years she couldn’t stand up straight and had pain when walking/driving/sitting or laying. She would struggle to get out of bed in the morning and couldn’t stand for too long as it was too painful.

I’ve been working with Kaya for a few months now. When he came to me he said he’s unable to squat without pain due to previous injuries which, 2 broken knee caps and two torn ACL’s.

In the picture Kaya is hitting a PB squat of 140kg completely pain free! Not only have we rehabbed his knees, he now loves to squat which he previously feared!
